International camel botherer and Leicester/London local Sam ‘SPT’ Taylor disconnects himself from the blogging mainframe to drop his ‘Favourites’ for your eyes and brain this week, so have a gander below now, and check the ‘SPT and Joe Sivell at St Albans’ Science edit at the bottom of the page.
Way to start the day:
Coffee and shower.
The Quay all day.
Song to listen to when skating:
On the way to a spot, erm, Dinosaur Jr ‘Kracked’.
Jerry Hsu, Bag of Suck.
Die Hard (the whole Quadrilogy)
Right now I’m pretty into Pavement.
Lateralus or The Chronic.
Bart Simpson or Ed Templeton, I’m not sure who’s better.
Coffee whisker to make rad latte’s.
None skating pass-time:
Warm beer and cold women.
Matt Mills or Beaver.
Skate trip to date:
The first time I went to London when I was about 14 and saw Tony Hawk do a rad gymnast plant on a monster vert ramp.
Time in your life:
Brand of booze:
Heineken or K cider if I’m poor, depends how far into my uni year I am and if my loan is drying up. White Russians if I’m super rich.
Trick on ‘HTL: North Vs South’:
Joe Sivells scar.
Special move in a game of SKATE:
Fakie lazer flips.
Unforgivable # 2.
My first board, Jamie Thomas skeleton Zero thing. It had painted edges but how was I to know that was a bad thing.
Andy Simpson quote:
”That’s what is ruining the skateboard industry” About most things he sees in mags or online. Haha.
Comedy incident involving Simpson:
Watching porn on a projector in his ‘man room’ or when he got into a fight with about 30 townie kids down Syston skate park. At one point he warned the kid how easily he could kill him. Simps has too many gold moments, I love it.
When my mate, Wilko, broke his wrist about a year into skating when we were 13ish. On one of those stupid argos McGay rails. Shit was bent yo. Scary.
Tip to the reader:
Go on my blog – www.bloganddie.blogspot.com – It doesn’t get as much love as it used to but I’m planning on laying low for a bit then coming back like Penny or Mariano. Then buy one of the new Science boards. And buy me a drink if you see me out.
