The Road to 'War of the Thistles' 2009

Yep, it’s that time of the year where Turv and his selected army of Sole Tech minions pile into a mini bus for a long weekend in the ‘true north’ for the annual War of the Thistles weekend of Scottish carnage.

Along for the ride this year are Dave Davies, Chris Jones, Joe Lynskey, Woody, Bob Sanderson and Gav Coughlan, with Nicky Howells flying straight in from an eS Europe tour of France, Glasgow local Tom Shimmin popping by for 2am skates, and Barney Page, who Leo’s somehow managed to kidnap and brought along with him.

Today we basically spent the day driving from Warrington to Glasgow, so not a great deal of skating went on, so all we’ve got to show you thus far are the results of Leos passing obsession with the ‘shake face’.
