French Fred continues to offload the wealth of rare footage he gathered with the Flip Skateboards team whilst out filming for their seminal release “Sorry”, as he unearths another “Classic” clip in the form of two and half minutes worth of mainly unseen Tom Penny street footage!

This is some seriously shocking (in the best way) eye-fodder from a point in time where pretty much all Tom footage was kept well and truly under wraps as Fred worked towards finishing off Flip’s debut offering.

As the Forum/Instagram/Twitter/Facebook lurkers out there will already be aware, Dan Magee officially parted ways with Blueprint Skateboards last week following a fifteen year stint at the creative helm of the company…

“A few years ago, I decide to invest a skate business, that I felt would secure my future working in skateboarding and help push Blueprint & its riders forward. Ironically, certain events meant this investment had the opposite effect of my original intentions. As a result, I was not able to work on Blueprint with the same passion I used to have. Although this transition has been ongoing over the past two years, recent events have helped me to decide that it’s time to officially move on from my 15 years as Creative Director at Blueprint and concentrate on ‘the day job’. Thanks and respect to all those who have been involved with Blueprint along the way and all those that had my back when I needed it. Thanks to Paul Shier who continues to run the brand, as he has during my last couple of years on ‘hiatus’. I still hope to film, work in and be involved with skateboarding on a freelance and personal level for years to come. Audi 5000. Dan Magee”

It’s currently Saturday evening and we only just realised that in a handful of hours it’s going to be Sunday morning, and we’d totally forgot to sort something out for this weeks “Sunday Service”. So, as we do in all moments of doubt, we turned to the genius that is Nick Remon and asked him what his favourite video part ever was.

“Dunno. Rowley’s “Sorry” part’s got to be up there…”

Sunday Service: Denis Lynn – “Six Counties” (2002)

The latest issue of the mag has made its way into skateshops around the UK this week, with Vans UK rider, Superdead am, Indy and Bones representative and Lost Artist Denis Lynn adorning the cover.

Those of you who paid attention to DLynn’s Haunts interview a few months back will already be aware that Denis has been killing it over in Belfast for years now, despite only being 18 years old. For those of you who don’t know, check out his first photo in the mag (five years after he had feutus like photos published in Document and Kingpin) in this weeks newsletter, that should now be waiting for you in your inbox. Though this photo was first published in June 2005, it was actually shot in late 2003, whilst Conhuir was gathering photos for his Haunts that came out in Feb 2004.
