Right before the winter made it practically impossible to skate outdoors in the north, we hung out around Leeds with WESC and Route One rider Josh “Manhead” Young on the day of his Unabomber board launch party.

Follow Manhead as he has breakfast and shoot BB shotguns with Nic Powley, hits up a couple of spots and parks across West Yorkshire, spends an evening at The Works with a variety of team-mates and friends, then winds up at A Nation Of Shopkeepers for the first look at his pro board.

The new Emerica video “Stay Gold” will be getting its debut Leeds showing tonight at A Nation Of Shopkeepers thanks to the boys at Welcome. Doors are at 8pm, with the video showing at around half 8 and DJs Ash and Avid blessing your ears with suitable ear fodder all evening.

July 17th, the night before the Vans “Shop Riot” at The Works, Leeds, A Nation Of Shopkeepers are holding a premiere for the Vans Europe DVD “1966″.

Featuring Sections from Kris Vile, Chris Pfanner, Ross McGouran, Madars Apse, Flo Marfaing, Danny Wainwright and the rest of the Vans Euro crew, if you find yourself in town early ahead of the comp, go give this a watch and sink a few beers!
