Mixing up Lomokino, Super 8, HD and illustrations, Phil Evans finds himself firmly back in the news feed today with his sick new edit ‘Light is Light’.

Featuring shredding from the likes of Brian Corscaden, Fogo, Rob Moss, David Stenstrom, Al Collins, Martin O Grady, Daniel Stankovic and Phil Zwijsen, this one is definitely worthy of a few minutes on this Thursday morning.

Jay Dords/ edit from a recent Copenhagen mission is now on the interweb, with “Malmanoids” Al Collins, Phil Evans, Gibbo, Mini Brown, Goonter Cheeseman and Rob Somebody, along with English lords Becky Jaques, Noobs, Joe Howard, Felix and Slinky.

“The Rolling Collins” trailer – watch it!

As you’ll know, earlier in the summer Al Collins decided to skate the length of Ireland on a longboard, from the country’s most Southerly point, Mizen Head, to it’s most Northerly, Malin Head. Over the course of the 11 day mission, Al managed to raise an outstanding €13,000 for his chosen charity, Muscular Dystrophy Ireland.

Phil Evans documented the whole journey, the film for which, “The Rolling Collins”, is currently in the post-production stages. Whilst Phil puts the finishing touches to the project, check out the trailer, which can be conveniently located below.

Phil Evans is currently following Al Collins “All Ireland Skate Mission”, which will see Al skate from Irelands most southerly point, Mizen Head, to the most Northern point, Malin Head, all in the name of Muscular Dystrophy Ireland.

This is a really good cause and Al is a beast of human for going through with it – check out Phil’s blog of the journey by clicking the image below for daily updates and further info on the mission!

Al Collins “All Ireland Skate Mission”

First Leo, Dykie and Pritchard decide to run the length of the country for the Elodie Appeal, now Irish legend Al Collins is set to skate across Ireland to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Ireland!

Starting out at Ireland’s most Southerly point, Mizen Head, on July 10th, Al is hoping to skate up to Irelands most Northern point, Malin Head, over the course of ten days. The map of the proposed route can be seen by clicking here, and be sure to keep up to date with Al’s progress on his specially set up blog. Anyone who feels up for joining the mission is being encouraged to do so, and show your support by spreading the word of the fundraiser or donating some pennies here.
