The Basque Country’s very own full throttle destroyer of transition, Alain Goikoetxea, celebrates fifteen years as part of the Volcom team by hammering out an all new five minute section that’s literally brimming with madness. The Kantera Skatepark footage towards the end is particularly shocking.

“Alain Goikoetxea has been skating for Volcom since ’98. In order to celebrate these 15 years of loyalty, he put together a full online video part with footage he’s been gathering over the last few years. For those who don’t know Alain, he is born and raised in the Basque Country and lives right up the hill from the famous La Kantera skatepark in Algorta, where he nearly shreds every day and after all these years of skating it, still finds new lines and tricks that have never been done before. Alain is one of those guys where age doesn’t affect his progression, style and control. Skateboarding is a natural thing for him. Alain’s gnarboots never stop amazing us.”

Nixon’s “Happy F*kng Trip” – Sarmiento, Pfanner, Gillet…

The heavy hitting European Nixon team, consisting of Chris Pfanner, Javier Sarmiento, JB Gillet, Alain Goikoetxea, Alex Mizurov and Antony Lopez, hit the road late last year for their ten day long Happy F*kng Trip mission, taking in spots located in and around Bilbao, Barcelona and Lyon.
