The UK’s very own Alex Pasquini and James Holman just picked up “Best Independent And Emerging” film makers award for their excellent “Altered Focus: Burma” at the 2011 International Skateboard Film Festival in L.A!

Props are obviously in order! You can watch the full film underneath this lovely picture of Pas and James posing with Liverpool’s Geoff Rowley at the awards…

After several delays, Alex Pasquini and James Holman – also known as Hotwheels Media – have finally released their excellent skate documentary “Altered Focus: Burma”.

Following Alex, James and The Harmony and Analog UK rider Ali Drummond as they travel across Yangon and Mandalay, “Altered Focus: Burma” explores the reaction to the unseen activity of skateboarding whilst touching on the political situation there.

With no shortage of rad and moving footage, this film is more than worthy of 20 minutes out of anyone’s day – get watching below then spread the word!
