Every Tuesday for the last month, Welcome Skatestore have teamed up with The Works to bring Leeds a regular indoors Skate Night – check the first months worth of footage below, featuring Dale Starkie, Tom Harrison, Mike Arnold, Cainan McEwan, Avid, Alex Shepherd, Ollie Wheatley, James ‘Foz’ Foster, Jake Mitchell, Tom Herbert, Pat Godbert, Liam Hobson, Connor Parkin, John Hanson, Jordan Kaye, Rory McKenzie, Dave Tyson, Martyn Hill and Brendan ‘Brenna’ Harrap.

Vans “Shop Riot 2011″ footage – Ramp City, Blackpool

All the highlights from this years Vans “Shop Riot” competition are now online, which took place yesterday afternoon at Ramp City, Blackpool. Manchester’s The Black Sheep took home the first place title for the second time in three years, earning themselves a place at the European finals as well as a wad of cash to split up between riders Eddie Belvedere, Rob Smith, Olly Tyreman and Nick Stansfield.

Paul Silvester was recently in Leeds to settle some unfinished scores at a couple of spots in the city, but spent the day after letting his legs recover whilst filming a clip with Doug McLaughlan and Avid at the DIY spot Needleside and the ever familiar Hyde Park.

Route One skate team rider Avid the Rotter escaped his hometown of Leeds for a large chunk of this past winter, finding himself living and working in Edinburgh instead.
