Element “Make It Count” contest 2012 – Bay Sixty6, May 5th.

Element Skateboards are bringing their “Make It Count” contest series back to the UK again in May, for another day long competition that’s open for literally everybody to enter. Having been previous held at Mount Hawke and Manchester’s Central Skatepark, this year Element are taking their contest to London, heading to Bay Sixty6 on May 5th. Admission to the park will set you back one item of canned food which will then be donated to a local food drive, with entry categories consisting of 13 and under, 14 to 16, 17 and up/sponsored. As with previous years, the comps will follow the tried and tested Best Trick style jam format on a variety of ramps across the park.

In addition to a mountain of gear to be won from Element, Dakine and the other “Make It Count” sponsors, the national overall contest winner will win a trip to the European finals at Bright Tradeshow in Berlin, where they will be competing for a trip to the world finals at the Element YMCA camp in August.

The third part of Chris Johnson’s Supra Footwear “Chasing The Crown” online Extension is now online, with Penny, Muska, TK and the rest heading down south from Edinburgh to Manchester

Early morning beats with Lizard and Penny at our temporary Mancunian home.

Penny, Muska and Lizard searched for untrodden ground in Manchester.

The Manchester locals got wind of where the team were staying. Mumford and Lizard avoid the masses.

Muska battled the local traffic in order to get some street photos shot before the demo.

Down the Pumpcage for the demo. Stu Reynolds and Joe Gavin were keen to witness.

Lewis Threadgold was hyped!

Muska frontside flipped the hip mid demo.

Keelan came straight back with a frontside nollie heel.

Muska left his mark.

Part 2 of Chris Johnson’s Supra Footwear “Chasing The Crown” online Extension is now up, which sees Muska, Penny and the crew make the most of a (predominantly) wet few days in Scotland.

You can't go to Edinburgh without going to Bristo.

Muska made the most of the Scottish street before we headed over to the demo under the looming clouds.

Five minutes into the demo and the heavens opened.

Most of us headed over to a local pub in hope that the sun would break through. TK, Furby and Keelan were hyped on the Juke Box selections by the locals.

Muska shied away from the booze and stoked all of the Focus locals out.

With the sun breaking through and the demo back on, Chad took care of more signings before finding solace in the van.

Lizard King was hyped on the Saughton locals, killing it on both demo and signing duties.

Signings after signings - Terry Kennedy gets in the signature mix.

Boo Johnson finds a space.

The clouds continued to loom as we headed south towards Manchester...

Martin Kennelly made the journey south from Chesterfield to London at the weekend and captured all the madness from the final Supra Footwear demo in the UK, which was relocated at the last minute to Bay Sixty6 Skatepark amidst fears of bad weather.
