So you guys (that’s the Sidewalk site regulars) along with Sidewalk Forum heads and both SW and Volcom Europe Facebook lurkers recently put together some question requests for Kris Vile’s very own ‘Volcornered’ interview.

You obviously came up with the goods – and some odd ones, too – and we managed to get a bit of time with him to talk through desert islands, board sponsors, the existence of a Groms Curse and a whole bunch more.

Volcom Clothing and Sidewalk Magazine are giving you, the reader, your chance to ask Kris Vile any question. Whatever you always have wanted to ask him! ANYTHING!

Here is how it works:
- Post a comment with your question in the comments section below or on the Sidewalk forum. You can also hit us up via our Facebook post about this article too.
- We will then gather all your comments, trap Kris in a corner, and force him to answer the questions we pick to be the most ‘introspective’, let’s say, and capture it all on video.
- The video will then be up on volcomeurope.com, and sidewalkmag.com in the next week or so.

Ideal Skateshop in Birmingham have just unveiled a fully loaded gallery area within their new store! The previously blank wall was screaming out for something to adorn it, and Kris, Bob and Zippy haven’t disappointed.

The gallery features the photographic work of Sidewalk photographers highlighting a cross-section of some of the most remembered shots of Birmingham skateboarders published in the magazine from the mid 1990′s up right up to the present day. Contributing photographers include Wig Worland, Sam Ashley, Leo Sharp and Chris Johnson, with classic skating from Vaughan Baker, Simon Peplow, Richard ‘Benny’ Hughes, Bob Sanderson, Kris Vile and many more.

Be sure to pop in to the shop and take a look at this display of Brummy history first hand – keep an eye on the wall for updates too, as the plan is to add to the gallery in the future with other classics, and possibly a couple of photos that have yet to be shot…

As you might have noticed whilst checking out the coverage from Converse’s “Fix To Ride” event at the revamped Kennington Bowl last Saturday, Birmingham ripper and Vans Europe rider Kris Vile is now part of the Rollersnakes team!

Kris can now be found proudly repping the Derby store alongside the likes of Harry Lintell, Kelley Dawson, Boots, Nick Roberts, John Bell and Becki Jacques.
