“Dan was a bit concerned about his section in this video; not enough inspiration he thought, not enough footage.
But when he sat down with Mark Nicolson to begin piecing his section together his self-doubt was unfounded. Dan is a true skateboarding veteran with lots of imagination and a huge bag of tricks, constantly travelling and filming. So in the end there was actually more than enough footage to make a video part that we were all really happy with. The fact that Richie Jackson was particularly looking forward to see what Mr Cates had been up to speaks volumes.” – Nick Zorlac.

To coincide with the release of their latest full length offering, the mighty Ordinary Madness, close to the entire Death Skateboards crew hit the road back in October for a week of carnage, booze, skateboarding and screenings.

Following on from yesterdays mammoth blog from the initial Harrow premiere, today sees us start to roll out Dan Cates’ blog from the ongoing Death Skateboards “Ordinary Madness” tour.

Death Skateboards “Ordinary Madness” – Glasgow premiere info here!

Paul Silvester has taken it upon himself to sort out the first Scottish premiere for Death Skateboards upcoming full length offering “Ordinary Madness”.

Head on down to The Flying Duck on Renfield Street, Glasgow on October 25th at 5:15pm to see what Cates, Melcher, Nicolson, Dave Allen, Rob Smith, Zarosh, Richie Jackson, Benson, Boots, Dean Palmer, Moggins, Adam Moss and the rest of the Death lot have been up to since 2007.

This one’s for over 18′s only so be sure to bring some I.D.
