Dave Chesson is once again organising the sponsored/pro mini ramp comp at the annual StreetFest in East London on Sunday 29th May, and, as with last year, the comp is limited to 20 entrants, so if you want a stab at the prize money on offer you’d better act now!

Vans and Alan Glass have resurrected the long lost footage from the 2001 Vans UK Tour, featuring decade old antics from Chris Pulman, Dave Chesson, Emilio Arnanz, Olly Todd, Marc Churchill, Dan Cates, Mark Channer, Pete King, Chris Oliver and various guests.

Old faces, friends, classic spots and vintage radness awaits…

“StreetFest: May 2010″ – report and results

Last weekend saw the now bi-yearly StreetFest event in Old St in East London. In amongst all the stuff going on in the day was a mini ramp jam and game of skate. Trick lists aside, the skating went absolutley crackers. Arron Sweeney smashed it in his usual way, newcomer Alex Lally and Ewan Bower both skated really well too.
Dave Wallace took home 1st and some loot in the game of Skate in a nail biting final with Dan Tomlinson. Dan just missed out by 1 letter on a f/s nollie heelflip revert if I remember correctly.
By all accounts everyone had a cracking time. Some went home with some cash, nearly everyone went home with new shoes and some pear cider was drunk.
Big thanks to everyone who turned up and skated on the day, Stu Loven’Skate, MC Brewster, Greg Beer, Mayo, Adidas and Kopperberg cider for making the day a good ‘un.

The one and only Dave Chesson has organized a mini ramp comp and game of SKATE at this years Streefest, which will be taking place in East London on Sunday 30th May.

There are twenty spots up for grabs for pro/sponsored types out there to get involved, so anyone who’s interested needs to drop Dave Chesson an email to confirm their place. This is strictly first come first served, so if you fancy walking away with a share of the £500 prize purse then get on the case!
