Earlier this week, Volcom held its annual mini ramp gathering at the ISPO Tradeshow in Munich, this time adopting a trucker theme and inviting skaters from all over the world to battle it out for the €6000 prize purse.

Made any plans for Go Skateboarding Day this year yet? If not then you might want to make travel arrangements to get to London next Thursday, June 21st, as Nike are set to put on one memorable day in the nations capital.

Join Sean Malto, Youness Amrani, Lewis Marnell and Wieger Van Wageningen, alongside Fernando Bramsmark, Tim Zom, Chris Jones, Neil Smith, Daniel Kinloch, Joey Pressey and Korahn Gayle as they make their way around some of London’s most iconic spots, including Southbank and Stockwell, finishing up the day at with a demo and signing session at BaySixty6.

The evening’s session will also serve as a send off for the current BaySixty6 set up, as the following day Nike close the doors to the public and start renovation works at the park.

Hit up the new BaySixty6 Facebook page to keep track of progress during the renovation and also take a look back at the history and heritage of the notorious London park.

More details and whatnot on the revamp soon soon, but get to London next Thursday and get involved.

The annual ISPO tradeshow has been taking place in Munich over the last few days, with a heavy UK contingent present at the Volcom “Knot Again” mini ramp contests, alongside a whole load of European and American shredders.

Highlights from Monday’s competition are now online, with Ben Hatchell smashing his way into 1st, Jake Collins not too far behind in 2nd, Fernando Bramsmark in 3rd, Rune Glifberg 4th and Josh “Manhead” Young 5th.
