As with the previous Free Skate Days, each park had their own assigned filmer tasked with making an edit from the day in hope of earning their local establishment £1,000 towards park developments. All of the official edits are now online and can be viewed over on the Route One blog – go give them a watch and follow the instructions on how to vote. You’ve got until 10am on Tuesday November 6th to vote for your park, so get on the case now and support your local!

Following the success of their second “Free Skate Day” back in April, Route One have once again paired up with DC Shoes to bring skateparks and skateboarders all around the country another full day of uninterrupted free sessioning.

As ever, each day will see the parks cleared for exclusive and free use by skateboarders, with the traditioanl video editing comp of the day awarding the winning park £1,000 towards developments.

Public voting for the official clips has gone live on the R1 Facebook, with the video that racks up the most votes before Friday earning its local park £1,000 towards development. Get on the case and support your local establishment!

The full R1 edits from all of yesterdays jams across the country will be available online later this week, so keep an eye out to see what else went down! Rest assured this is merely the tip of the West Yorkshire iceberg.

As with last years event, all of the official clips will be subject to public voting with the winning clip earning its local park £1,000 towards development. Stay tuned….

As with the previous round of “Free Skate Day” events, there will be free entry, jams, prizes and members of the R1 team in attendance at each of the parks.

Check the poster below for a list of the participating parks, then get yourself along to your nearest park on the day and get involved!

Each of the parks had R1 team riders present, as well as their very own appointed filmers. Edits from each of the parks are now online, so head on over to the R1 site now to give them a watch, then vote for your favourite entry over on the R1 Facebook page. Hit the link in the Menu bar called “Questions” to cast your vote. The park footage with the most votes will win £1000 towards park improvements.

Thanks to contributions from Zoo York, Baker, Destructo Trucks, Hubba Wheels, Death Skateboards, Fabric, Almost, Element, Plan B, Autobahn, Theeve, Lakai Footwear, Vans, Chocolate, Fallen, Mystery and Route One, there will be £2,000 worth of giveaways at each of the five parks on the day, as well as R1 team riders on hand and a video making competition to earn your local park £1,000 worth of upgrades.
