“Reading local, London mysterio and Helas Caps representative – so enigmatic is Mr Eugene Ochieng that Slam City Skates once produced a full print T-shirt of his face (without giving the subject any warning ). I’m very proud to have grown up skating with the Eug, and consider him to have one of the finest styles this side of the Atlantic.

I’ve put together this mix of classic Eugene clips cheekily lifted from various independent releases from the last few years, with the hope of sharing Eugene’s talent with a wider audience who may have missed his fleeting appearances in various clips and montages. Don’t sleep on the relaxed technique!”

Heroin Skateboards and Emerica Footwear youth Casper Brooker killed it for his first ever full section in Slam City’s “City of Rats” video. If its release a few months somehow managed to pass you by, Henry has uploaded Casper’s section for you to witness, which can be watched below.

“At a point in time where a large section of skateboarders consider social networking props to constitute skateboard culture, it is extremely refreshing to see members of the younger generation still out pounding the streets like those who came before them. Don’t be one of those bellends who only watches skate videos after they’ve been cut up into bite-sized sections on some Facebook hero’s page: support real skateboard culture with your money, not just your ‘liking’ finger. Featuring Rory Milanes, Nick Jensen, Joey Pressey, Nick Jensen, Neil Smith, Karim Bakhtaoui, Lucien Clarke, Steph Morgan, Casper Brooker, Darius Trabalza, Jin Shimizu, Daniel ‘Snowy’ Kinloch, Rob Mathieson John Tanner, Danny Brady, Scott Howes and Oliver Todd alongside the Slam Family and the rest of London, you know this is one for the collection.

Last weekend saw the first ever Slam City video “City of Rats” premiere at the ever familiar surroundings of the Prince Charles Theatre, London. Two sold out screenings saw hundreds of people sitting down to witness Hold Tight Henry’s latest full length offering, which, as expected, is full to the brim with raw London street skating from the likes of Karim Bakhtaoui, Rory Milanes, Lucien Clarke, Neil Smith, Jerome Campbell, Snowy, Darius Trabalza, Casper Brooker and the rest.  The DVD should be available all over the UK within the next two weeks, so keep an eye out for this one appearing at your local retailer – this is definitely going to be one for the collection.

Anyway, to keep the proceedings “City of Rats” themed, for this weeks Sunday Service we’ve decided to bring you Lucien Clarke’s section from Henry’s last full length offering “Hold Tight London – North vs South”.
