Crayon Skateboards and UK éS Footwear rider James Coyle, along with Ben Larthe, decided to make the most of the two days of summer we saw last week by hitting up a variety of spots around the Newcastle area and even managing to bag up a cameo from the legendary Jimmy Boyce!

Steve “Bingo” Binks Five Bridges Send Off – footage online now!

The Teeside and whole UK scene did us proud yesterday, as upwards of 150 people braved the weather and descended upon Five Bridges in Gateshead to send off Steve “Bingo” Binks in a overly fitting style! Heads from all over the country were in attendance to celebrate the life and memory of Bingo, including local legends, reclusive Northern types and familiar faces galore.

James Coyle is readying to unleash his upcoming North-Eastern scene video on the world, which is looking like it should be getting its debut screening sometime next month. Until then, expect to be seeing teasers for the as yet untitled project from the likes of Niall McDermot, Jimmy Boyce, Jamie Errington, Ben Larthe, Joe Hill, Scott Cherry, Will Creswick and plenty more. The first of these teasers is now online, and features three minutes of bails and offcuts from James Coyle himself.

So, as you may or may not be aware, following the release of “Stay Gold”, Heath Kirchart has retired from professional skateboarding and has decided to cycle across America with friend and photographer Jeff Vallee.
