To celebrate the release of his limited edition Koston 2 IT golf shoe from Nike, Eric Koston flew to London for a special launch party which saw a packed out bowl jam followed by an evening of skate spot based mini-golf and more with a whole variety of familiar faces from around the globe.

Graham Tait is just about ready to drop the second issue of his Scottish skate mag North, the launch party for which will be taking place at Upstairs in Hemma, 75 HolyRood Road, Edinburgh on March 7th.

Lakai Limited Footwear is proud to be launching its new Belmont XLK, designed by Danny Brady, on Friday March 2nd, at Slam City Skates, in London.

Join Danny this coming Friday at the Covent Garden store, from 5 to 7pm, to celebrate the launch of his take on the Lakai’s classical Belmont model, where you’ll be able to find T’Brady working being the counter, giving away free beers and t-shirts.

It’s that time of the year again when the Slam City lot descend upon The Macbeth for their annual Xmas Party, this time around bringing with them launch of Grey Magazine issue 7, alongside DJ’s Inspectah Neck, Jake’s Alley, Samshers, Lev, Jackson and Hops.

Welcome x ATF x Sami Graystone – “Street Meat” launch blog online now!

Last Friday night saw A Third Foot, Leeds artist Sami Graystone and Serious Sam Barrett take over Welcome Skatestore for the launch of ATF’s new “Street Meat” board series.

Free beers were sunk, a selection of Sami’s artwork adorned the walls, Doug McLaughlan’s new “Street Meat” promo section was played on loop, and Serious Sam knocked out a full set of his trademark Yorkshire-Folk bangers!

Keep an eye out for a full write up from the evening in the Folklore pages of the next issue, but for now, browse a selection of photos from the night, shot by Gregory Adams. Sami’s work will remain on show in the shop for the next 6 weeks, so be sure to drop by if you’re passing through town.

Joey Pressey and Fos’ long awaited venture into the world of skateboard hardware is finally here, in the form of the Stella Supply Co. Their debut range of bolts and bearings should be making their way to your local SOS now, so keep an eye out and support the cause when the opportunity arises.

Grey – issue 4 launch party this Sunday!

Issue 4 of Henry Kingsford’s ever excellent Grey magazine will be making its way around the country as of next Monday, and to celebrate, there’s a launch party taking place in London this Sunday, Match 20th (see flyer below for details).

This issue is based around night skating, and the evening will also see the premieres of two new videos. The first is “Grey Nights”, a short film by Henry Edwards-Wood who was around to document much of the skating featured in the night issue. This will be followed by Yoan Taillandier’s “Minuit”, a full length skate video filmed in Bordeaux, Tokyo and Osaka and featuring the interviewee for issue 4, Leo Valls.

Get along to the party if you can, and be sure to pick up a copy of issue 4 when it hits your local SOS next week!
