The snow seemed to avoid the Northeast on Sunday, so Jimmy Hart, Adam Stoddart, Reece Hunter, Connor Stokes, Dean Boyle and Matthew Johnson hit the streets.

The Sidewalk Forum’s very own Voodoo has uploaded his edit from last weekends Doing it for Bingo Jam, held at R-Kade Skatepark, Redcar.

‘Doing it for Bingo’ Jam 2013 – footage online now!

Sunday just gone saw skateboarders from literally all over the UK descend upon Redcar for the ‘Doing it for Bingo’ Jam 2013, to honour the life and memory of the one and only Steven ‘Bingo’ Binks.

As expected, the 4-6pm session was packed out as every corner of R-Kade’s new layout got well and truly broken in, with an equally as rammed screening of the fourth full length Mischief shop video ‘Sons of the North’ taking place in the parks cafe at 7pm.

Footage from the jam is now online and ready to be watched below, featuring shredding from Ronny Calow, Tom Harrison, Tom Tanner, Josh Young, Craig Smedley, Blinky, John Sykes, Vaughan Jones, Aiden Blaymire and more. ‘Sons of the North’ will be available in skateshops around the country soon.

Massive props to Danny and Ronny Calow at Legacy Skatestore, Niki and the staff at R-Kade, Jerome at Shiner and all of the events sponsors for making the day happen.

The ever productive Danny Beall has got a new edit doing the interweb rounds, made up of “Offcuts of Offcuts” gathered between 2004 and 2009 whilst out filming for “Brass Monkey” with Matt Hirst.

Give it a watch below – rumour has it there’s another two sections worth of offcuts still sat dormant in Hirst’s vault too, so fingers crossed some more Beall edits might be in the pipeline…

Last weekend saw the hugely anticipated Dean “Bod” Brodrick “Retrospective” exhibition hit Teeside, displaying videos, skateboard graphics, teeshirts and various other projects that Bod was involved with over the years, as well as honouring Mischief Skateshop and Bingo.

The closing party took place on Saturday night, and Ronnie Calow has posted up a selection of photos from the bash over on the Sheffield Black Wallets blog.
