The DC crew are heading to the infamous Bristolian proving ground of Lloyds over the weekend of September 8th and 9th as they bring back their “Gert Big Three” comp for 2012!

As ever there will be the standard NBD fest down the Big Three, a ledge best trick jam and game of SKATE, with £2500 and plenty of product on the line, as well as giveaways for all and a massive afterparty already lined up. If the weather turns this year then the jam will be relocated to Bristol’s new M32 DIY spot (vote Fifty Fifty), so rain or shine you’ll be in for a solid day of skating.

Despite the stop/start rain all day, DC Shoe’s rescheduled “Lloyds Big Three” comp actually managed to go ahead on Sunday, though was cut short due to yet another untimely downpour.

Before the rain stopped play completely, the likes of Ash Dixon, Ollie Lock and Joe Mercer put down several personal NBD’s, though it was obviously Korahn Gayle who laid down yet another genuine “first” at the Bristol proving ground, taking home £500 cash for adding yet another ridiculous Lloyds never been done to his seemingly endless list.

Watch the video from the jam now, and keep an eye out for the next installment of DC’s “Gert Big Three” jam, which will hopefully be taking place in April.

Due to unfortunate British weather circumstances, the Lloyds ‘Gert Big Three’ comp was called off in Bristol last Thursday. However, that didn’t stop everyone getting together for a massive Game of SKATE in the near by @Bristol shelter.

The flatland battle consisted of eight heats and one final. 1st place and £400 cash went to Bristol’s finest Korahn Gayle, 2nd place and £200 went to James (Bean) Burnham and 3rd place and £100 to Layth Sami. Check the footage underneath…
