Parlour X Lakai’s Go Skateboarding Day – with Jesus, Brady, Jensen…

Parlour Skatestore and Lakai are really pushing the boat out for this years Go Skateboarding Day, as they bring you a 2013 version of their East London Takeover which is set to see the likes of Jesus Fernandez, Danny Brady, Nick Jensen, Enrique Lorenzo and Sebo Walker in attendance!

Heading out from the Mile End store at 4:30pm on June 21st, the ‘large contingency of skateboarding riffraff’ aim to hit up seven predetermined East London spots as they take Go Skateboarding Day back to the streets.

The event is obviously open to all and the first 50 humans in attendance will bag themselves some brand spanking new Lakai gear!

The spot list will be released nearer the time, but if you’re in London for Go Skateboarding Day and fancy getting involved in some guaranteed street carnage, then you know where you need to be!

Volcom Stone’s ‘Wild in the Parks 2013′ – Mile End, August 3rd.

Volcom Stone are bringing their Wild in the Parks event back to the UK this summer, with a day of comps at Mile End Skatepark on August 3rd.

Categories for entry are 14 and under, 15 and over and an open comp with a cash prize purse, with free food and drink for all entrants, as well as prizes and giveaways.

The day kicks off with registration at 11am, and entry is free for all. The top five from each division qualify for the European finals which will be taking place on October 12th (location TBC).

Jake Shunt brings you all the highlights from Saturday’s ‘Smash and Grab’ comp at Mile End Skatepark, with Jak Pietryga, Gav Coughlan, Manny Lopez, Alex Lally, Carl Wilson, Awadh and plenty of other London heads.

As expected, serious business was handled by all – get watching!

As the weather in London threatens to start picking up, adidas Skateboarding have stepped to the plate and organised a special ‘Smash and Grab’ at Mile End Skatepark!

Head on down to Mile End from 11am on Saturday March 30th for your chance to win a slice of the whopping £2,000 prize purse in a special best trick style competition utilising five different obstacles dotted around the park. There’s £100 cash for the winner of each individual obstacle, two runner-up payouts of £50 per obstacle, and spot prizes being dished out throughout the jam.

There will also be a BBQ serving up ‘Bangers and Smash’, and DJ’s filling your ears with sterling music.

Registration starts at 11am and entry will only set you back £2.
