Mixing up Lomokino, Super 8, HD and illustrations, Phil Evans finds himself firmly back in the news feed today with his sick new edit ‘Light is Light’.

Featuring shredding from the likes of Brian Corscaden, Fogo, Rob Moss, David Stenstrom, Al Collins, Martin O Grady, Daniel Stankovic and Phil Zwijsen, this one is definitely worthy of a few minutes on this Thursday morning.

Dublin based designer/skateboarder James Carroll has unveiled his latest project which revolves around one-of-a-kind picture frames made out of old boards!

Format Perspective – special edition available now!

The new version is comprised of the 128 page hardcover book and 63 minute DVD, along with six professionally produced prints (that’s one print for each of the featured photographers).

Bradford’s gypsy like ambassador of skateboarding and cider consumption, Lois Pendlebury, spent a week or so traveling around Ireland back in Autumn, meeting up with Phil Evans for a few sessions at parks and DIY spots in Dublin and Bray.

“Format Perspective”, Phil Evans’ skateboard photography documentary featuring the works and opinions of Nils Svensson (Malmö), Stuart Robinson (Belfast), Alex Irvine (London), Richard Gilligan (Dublin), Bertrand Trichet (Barcelona-Tokyo) and Sergej Vutuc (Heilbronn), is set to premiere in London next week!
