Red Bull “Manny Mania” returned to the UK last Saturday, with an afternoon of two wheeled madness taking over Central Skatepark, Manchester.

After several heated sessions the Top 5 skaters of the day were…

3 – Jirka Bulin
4 – Awadh Mohammed
5 – Nick Remon

With Mark kendrick earning himself a “best trick” Nintendo 3DS for a 360 flip nosemanny.

As you should be aware by now, Red Bull “Manny Mania” returns to the UK this coming weekend with the first stop off set to take place at Central Skatepark, Manchester on Saturday. The official teaser for this years balance-off can be watched underneath now, with highlights from previous years, a bit of background info from those involved and skating from the likes of Mike Wright, Chris “Avi” Atherton, Ben Rowles, Jack Edwards, Nicky Howells and others.

Red Bull “Manny Mania” returns to the UK next month, taking in three qualifiers across England and a final in London, with the overall winner earning themselves a trip to the world finals in New York in August!

As ever, if you think your balancing skills are up to scratch or you simply fancy watching some of the best manual skating in the country, then take note of the following dates and venues then get yourself involved…

9 April – Central Skatepark, Manchester
16 April – Motion (formerly Skate n’ Ride), Bristol
30 April – Bay 66, London (qualifier and final same day)

Red Riding to New York – Red Bull Manny Mania Finals bloggings

Yours truly got an opportunity to travel to New York a few weeks ago to judge the Red Bull Manny Mania Pro/Am Finals courtesy of aesthete and Austrian impersonator Chris Nieratko.
The Saturday am final saw skaters from 32 countries across the globe battle it out under the Manhattan Bridge, with Belgium’s Youness Amrani the eventual winner.
Sunday’s pro final started well with mad manny heads in attendance; but unfortunately torrential rain cut short the finals before they could really get going, so you’ll have to make do with a sketchy blog edit from the warm up sesh.
In fact, these photos are really nothing more than an excuse to shout “I blogged some Stevie Williams footage” like an utter grom, but whatever.
New York is nuts, always a good time…

Red Bulls UK leg of Manny Mania rolled into Prime in Plymouth the other weekend, footage of which has just surfaced itself online. See below for South Coast two-wheeled antics from Ashley Wilson, Phil Russel, Ryan ‘Skelly’ Evans and the return of Dom Henry.
