The Route One media department has been working overtime lately, dropping two new edits in two days – the first welcoming UK vert prodigy Sam Beckett to the team, the second remixing some of the crews greatest documented moments over the last few years!

R1′s Free Skate Session – April 3rd, Projekts Skatepark, Manchester.

Route One are hosting their first skate event in Manchester next week, by way of a Free Skate Session at the revamped (and now concrete) Projekts Skatepark!

Get down to the park from 1pm on Wednesday April 3rd to enjoy a completely free session with R1 team riders Nicky Howells, Dave Snaddon, Doug McLaughlan and Benson in attendance, alongside plenty of prizes, no scooters, no rollerbladers and no BMXers.

R1 and Skateistan – Have A Heart.

Today Route One launch their Have a Heart campaign in aid of Skateistan.

For every deck sold, both online and in store, between Friday 8th – Friday 22nd February 2013 Route One will donate £10 to the Skateistan charity helping 5-18 year olds with skateboarding and educational programming in Afghanistan and Cambodia.
