Launched in May 2002, Skateboarding Is… has been regularly updated with hard to find photos, videos and adverts from the 1970s up to present day, unearthing no shortage of genuine gems from both the UK and America along the way. Classic video parts, rare adverts, obscure photography and more, Skateboarding Is… has the lot.

In addition to the main site, Skateboarding Is… also plays home to “When It Rains”, an extremely comprehensive guide to UK skate videos, covering everything from UK company releases to the rarest of scene productions, including artwork, rider lists and additional info for pretty much every video you could think of.

This week we head over to Belgium to draw your attention to Wheelbite – www.wheelbite.be – a site dedicated to Belgian skateboarding, though primarily concentrated on the scene in Brussels.

Having started out life as a simple blog, Wheelbite has grown to become one of the main Belgian skate sites, covering everything they can with regular injections of local footage, news, photos, and, from time to time, the odd sighting of John Winter!

This is the official site of Greece’s only skater-owned and skater-run skateboard magazine ‘Flipside’.

The majority of the website is in Greek but there’s a ton of rad videos, photos and associated skateboard goodies to peep, so take your fingers for a walk.
