So we all know that on the intro for “Since Day One”, Real Skateboards were paying homage to the intro for their very first release “The Real Video” that came out back in 1993.

How many people know about the controversy that was involved in getting the original intro together back in the day, that almost cost then Real filmer and team manager Dave Metty his job?

Real Skateboards “Since Day One” Truro Premiere

SJz Skateshop have stepped to the plate and decided to hold a Truro premiere of the Real Skateboards video “Since Day One” at Live Bar this coming Thursday.

The premiere is all ages with free entry, though donations for the Johnny Kicks Cancer fund are welcome.

Real Skateboards hugely anticipated “Since Day One” made its UK debut in front of a rowdy crowd of northerners in Liverpool last night, and it’s safe to say that the video is as genuinely shocking as you hoped it would be. No spoilers as such here I’m afraid, but it’s safe to say that there’s literally something for everyone, and Perelson and Busenitz can and will blow minds…

Major props to Lost Art and the Newbird mob for hooking it up – a blog from the afternoon should be surfacing via Ash Wilson pretty soon so keep an eye out!

As you’re all aware by now, the first UK premiere of Real Skateboards heavily anticipated full length video “Since Day One” will be taking place in Liverpool this coming Sunday, and if you were planning on heading down, be sure to get there early as Lost Art, New Bird and DLX are hold a pre-premiere session at New Bird!

Get along to the DIY set-up from midday to get involved – the video starts at 5pm so there’s plenty of time to get your skate on beforehand…
