Camp WESC returns to Truro in August – book now!

Mark Baines and co will be heading back to Truro in August for the third annual summer Camp WESC!

The weeks available are:
12th-16th August, and
19th-23th August.

Booking is now open with places available for both guys and girls aged 11-18, so act fast if you want to get involved! As ever, some of the UK’s top pros and ams will be on hand throughout the entire week to help you with all your tuition needs, and each camper will receive a a goodie bag full of skate product from the camps sponsors.

The price for each week is only £380 all in, so head on over the Camp WESC site and book now to avoid disappointment!

This past weekend saw War of the Thistles take over the Scottish skate scene for two days of indoor skateboarding carnage!

The Ledge Tradeshow returns to London – September 1st-3rd.

The Ledge Tradeshow is set to take over the London Olympia once again over September 1st-3rd.

In addition to the usual gathering of industry heads and retailers, the show will also be playing home to the annual UKSA Mini Ramp Champs!

Carl Richards ‘Celebration of Life’ Jam – Newport, May 12th.

On April 15th, the UK skate community suffered a massive blow as South Wales legend Carl Richards passed away.

Carl was a bowl enthusiast, a regular face at UK events and will be greatly missed by all.

The entire Welsh skate scene will be out in force this coming Sunday May 12th for a special ‘Celebration of Life’ jam at Newport Skatepark. The session officially kicks off at 1pm so get yourself to South Wales and shred in memory of Carl!

RIP mate.

Vans ‘Off The Wall Spring Classic’ – watch it live today!

Element’s ‘Make It Count’ contest – Wildcard entry info here!

Can’t make it to Element’s 2013 ‘Make it Count’ comp at Flo Skatepark, Nottingham, next month? Well never fear as Element and Dakine are holding a special ‘Wildcard’ video contest for those unable to attend the actual session.

Simply spend one day filming your best minute of footage at your local park, post the resulting clip on Element Europe’s Facebook Page by May 10th, then the two eventual winners will be flown to the ‘Make It Count’ European finals in Norway in June.
