The Sherborne Skatepark gets its official opening this coming Saturday, June 8th – get yourself down to the recently completed 1Skatepark for an afternoon of best trick jams and spot prizes, with appearances from Vans and Fifty Fifty riders such as Josh Young, Korahn Gayle, Kris Vile and Joe Habgood.

To celebrate Bridges second birthday, Skateboard:NI are hosting a day long event at the Belfast park on July 7th!

The jams kick off around 1pm, with prizes on the line from a variety of sponsors and a handful of Jay Dords’ legendary trophies also up for grabs.

The annual NASS weekender returns to Bath and West Showground over July 11th-13th, and we’ve got our grubby mitts on a pair of tickets to pass on to you lucky humans!

The Independent Vert Series is back for 2013, and judging on what we’re hearing about last weekends jam at Mt Hawke, it’s already going off!

Check the dates and venues below to see how the rest of the year is shaping up, then get yourself along to either be involved in the sessions or show some support.

16th June – Ramp City, Blackpool.
21st July – The Space, North Berwick.
8th September – Adrenaline Alley, Corby.
27th October – Creation, Birmingham.

Volcom’s AmsterDamn Am returns! July 12th-14th.

Volcom are heading back to Skatepark Amsterdam over the weekend of July 12th-14th for the eighth annual AmsterDamn Am!

Amateurs from literally around the world will be flying into town for what promises to be another weekend of high-octane skateboarding, and with 10,000 Euros and 12 spots at the main Tampa Am contest up for grabs, this one is sure to go off.

As ever, there will be a live webcast of the finals available over on the Volcom Europe site, so if you can’t make the journey to Amsterdam to watch this one firsthand, you can still keep abreast of the madness that’s going down!

Head down to Mile End Skatepark, London, on July 14th for The Unicorn Girls Skate Contest – the session is set to kick off properly at 1pm with prizes on the line from a whole load of sponsors.

Vans Shop Riot 2013 – UK dates and locations here!

Following the success of recent years events, Vans have made the decision to split the Shop Riot into two legs – North and South. Instead of holding the annual shop battle at one central park, this year there will be stops at Prevail Skatehouse in Poole on June 2nd, and R-Kade Skatepark in Redcar on July 28th. Both events will run from 2-6pm.

There’s no hard rules to say Northern teams have to enter the Northern leg and vice versa, you can attend both and improve your chances if you like. The winner from each leg will go on to face the best Europe has to offer with an all expenses paid trip to the European finals in October (details TBC).

Expect good skateboarding, MC abuse, free Vans waffles, £2k prize money per leg and smiles all round.

If your shop team hasn’t got it together and attended one of these before you need to sort your act out! Who will be victorious this year? Previous winners Black Sheep and 50:50 are the boys to beat!

Camp WESC returns to Truro in August – book now!

Mark Baines and co will be heading back to Truro in August for the third annual summer Camp WESC!

The weeks available are:
12th-16th August, and
19th-23th August.

Booking is now open with places available for both guys and girls aged 11-18, so act fast if you want to get involved! As ever, some of the UK’s top pros and ams will be on hand throughout the entire week to help you with all your tuition needs, and each camper will receive a a goodie bag full of skate product from the camps sponsors.

The price for each week is only £380 all in, so head on over the Camp WESC site and book now to avoid disappointment!
