Jart Skateboards’ Europe wide “Stair Wars” competition is in full effect! After taking into consideration all the entrants, the following shops have qualified for the UK and Ireland…

Calling all skateshops – Jart Skateboards present “Stair Wars”

Jart Skateboards are inviting skate shops across the whole of Europe to fight it out in a battle to prove whose team houses the best stair leapers, so if you either own or work in an established skate retailer within the UK, this one’s for you. You’ll need to assemble a team of locals, be it shop riders or friends of the shop, and submit a short video of a stair session (one trick per rider) to Jart, who will then select only two UK based shops to hold a separate ‘best trick’ contest, the overall winner from which will then be flown out to the finals at Hondarribia, Spain, later in the year.

If you were paying attention to the internet over the weekend then you’ll already be well aware that Dennis Busenitz more than manhandled this years Tampa Pro contest, literally blowing the competition out of the water with a final run that was beyond ridiculous.

Element “Make it Count 2011″ – Estonia footage

A couple of weeks back the 2011 Element Skateboards “Make It Count” contest rolled into Tallin for the Estonian leg of the series. UK Osiris rider Tim Prozorov was crowned Overall Winner of the day, earning himself a trip to the European finals in Madrid on May 14th.

Rune, Manhead and Collins take down ISPO 2011!

Yesterdays Volcom “Stoney Mountain” mini ramp contest at the annual ISPO tradeshow in Munich apparently went off with a serious bang, with text message from Powley confirming that Rune Glifberg took first, with Josh “Manhead” Young in second and Jake Collins holding it down for the roiders in third!

Good work you lot – footage and full report to follow in the near future no doubt. Keep an eye out…
