The House Comp 2012 – Saturday October 6th.

Now entering its tenth year, The House Comp makes its annual return on Saturday October 6th, for another day of certified Sheffield based shredding.

Keeping things traditional, the park will still be charging the standard fiver to enter or spectate for the whole day, with categories consisting of 12 and under, 16 and under, over 16 and pro/sponsored. There’s £1000 up for grabs for first place in the pro/sponsored comp, and product from a wide variety of companies for the unsponsored types.

Matt Hirst has taken the decision to put his trusty old VX1000 into semi-retirement, choosing instead to continue documenting South Yorkshire skateboarding in HD.

To test out his flash new rig, High Def Hirst grabbed hold of UK Adidas rider and Ravenous Skateboards representative Joe Marks, and bullied him into filming twenty tricks and a line at The House Skatepark in Sheffield…
