On Friday, Jude Jelly – Artistic Director for the Southbank Centre – issued the above statement criticising the skateboarders ongoing refusal to be uprooted from Southbank’s legendary Undercroft area.

‘Skate Southbank Forever’ photo show – on display now!

Photographer David Gould has entered the Save Southbank ring, stepping forward with his ‘Skate Southbank Forever’ photo show which is in display at the Undercroft right now.

Head on down to Southbank to check out his collection of portraits of skaters who localise the area, and read more about the project over on the Guardian website.

Everybody reading this needs to get themselves over to the Long Live Southbank website to learn about the recent developments and find out how to lodge a formal complaint with Lambeth Council. Details are on the front page – read, act accordingly then spread the word!
