I’m pretty sure this was eventually turned into ‘Leisure’, but Stu Bentley’s long lost promo for Wisdom Skateshop in Manchester showed a great deal of promise for the video that technically never was.

Featuring Keith Millar, Garry Woodward, James Ewens, Dan Rees, Eddie Belvedere and more, there were only 100 VHS copies of the promo made, which were given away for free to shop regulars and visitors to the long defunct stores in Manchester, Leeds and Huddersfield.

Escaping Manchester whilst finishing off his upcoming scene video “Snake Eyes Dies”, The Harmony pro and Etnies Europe representative Joe Gavin has been working on a raw as you like clip in London with old friend and renowned Director of Photography Stu Bentley.

See the embedded clip below for a solid six minutes of pure Big Smoke cruising, hitting backstreets, parks and known spots as only Joe can along the way, with cameos from Jak Pietryga, Joleon Pressey and Gez Curran.

This week we thought we’d use our Sunday invasion of your inbox to draw your attention to the skateboarding of Manchester’s Garry “Woody” Woodward. I’m sure you’re all well aware, but Woody’s been literally killing it for years, taking care of both street and park business with ease, starting out racking up coverage in the mid 90′s and continuing right through to the present day.

We were hoping to bring you his section from Neil Chester’s 1999 VHS “Hating Life” but my copy seems to have randomly gone AWOL, meaning we decided to bring you a later section from Woody, this time from Stu Bentley’s infamous 2004 release “Leisure”.
