We managaged to kidnap Mr Raemers for a few days.

Bedding. Comfortable and simple. Until the bags slowly expanded to fill the entire floor. The best thing was the jetlag. Weird to say - but it meant everyone was up at 8am ready for breakfast and we were at the first spot by 10am.

Panoramic view of about 1/5th of the garden. It was February, so the pool was cold. Gav found out when Stansfield pushed him in. The concrete barrier got a good sessioning, too. This is just before we fixed it up.

First street spot after a quick cruise at the Volcom park. Harry's knee popped out and then in again in the first twenty minutes of skating. That was pretty much the end of his skating for the trip until the pain-killer soaked final session. We felt gutted for Harry.

A hidden cache of BB guns in the house. I wonder if any neighbors took a sneaky look through those patio doors over the week the weapons lay there on the table? That could have been fun.

Harry found himself something to do without skating at least.

But poor Gav got ambushed.

Chris Johnson on tyre changing duties. We nearly lost the whole van down the pothole so I guess a tyre isn't bad going - and at least it only happened somewhere quiet. For LA. Or somewhere hectic as they say everywhere else in the world.

Ben Raemers joined us for a couple of days before scooting off to go hang out with Mike Manzoori.

Nick and Gav at the breakfast spot. Nick is down to try anything. Gav pretty much won't eat anything. He tried his first bagel here. Completely plain with just a sausage in. If you know Gav, that is pretty good going.

Back yard BBQ's. Get the fire going good after and drink some beers with friends. Amazing times.

This is the only time I've ever heard Chris have stern words. He really didn't want me to take this photo. I don't think he was worried about people knowing he had just been lying for twenty minutes in a drainage ditch full of piss - moreso that he was sitting right outside a kiddies school in just his underwear and I don't think that sort of attention goes down well in the US (If anywhere).

Last spot. Harry was braving up after the pain killer session and decided to warm up with a fifty fifty on this and then a backlip. Fifty-Fifty was easy. The first shot at the backlip went to noseblunt almost and Harry was off down that hole. Not nice. Time to walk away.

Here's a random one. Off to buy booze and they have two boards in the store above one of which is a Remy Stratton Acme pro model. This ain't England.
