Leeds “R1 Free Skate Day” footage from Welcome

Route One’s “Free Skate Day” took over a variety of parks across the UK on Monday, giving free entry all day to skaters, with comps, giveaways and a video making comp for the parks to earn £1,000 towards upgrades.

Welcome Skate Store’s edit from The Works in Leeds is now up, featuring Tom Brown, Dale Starkie, James Foster, Conhuir Lynn, Josh “Manhead” Young, Mike Wright and others.

At the request of Welcome Skate Store, Paul Silvester has been going back through his archives and has come through with a new Hi-8 edit of footage filmed in Leeds around the year 2000.
