Wireless Skateboards rider and Loko Skateshop representative Jonny McConkey swapped Belfast for Bordeaux late last year, which is where he currently resides on a constant French street mission.

Loko recently got their mitts on a good few up-to-date clips of Jonny, so they got the MonkeyBird Production Unit involved to piece together a new edit – watch on below…

Belfast’s resident VX wielder, Ciaran McClure, has upped sticks and relocated to the much sunnier climes of Australia for the winter, but before he left, he edited the entire contents of his hard-drive into one epic Belfast scene video in memory of the late, great Dee Corr.

“Dee Corr Forever” is online now and ready to be watched below, featuring a mixture of new and unseen footage from from Niall Creaney, Paddy Maguire, Denis Lynn, Gav Coughlan, Mark Robinson, Dion McGarrity, Keith Walsh, Danny C, Paddy Lynn, Marc Beggan, Jonny McConkey and various other Irish heads.

Continuing on from where we left off last Wednesday, the second and final part of Peter Adam’s amazing “Full Circle” documentary charting the rise and fall of the legendary St Anne’s plaza in Belfast is now online and ready to be watched below!

Witness Bernie Rea’s legendary casual destruction of St Anne’s, before the 2001 regeneration of Belfast city center meant the end of the plaza’s EMB-like reign over Irish skateboarding. Despite the councils best efforts to level the area, skaters still flock to the present day incarnation of St Anne’s to session the still intact nine set, and to step to the new Belfast proving ground “The Ten”.

Watch on below – with more rare footage from over the years and interviews from Jay Dords, Conhuir and Denis Lynn, Hippy, Chris Shannon, Pete Adam and various others.

The first part of Peter Adam’s amazing “Full Circle” documentary charting the rise and fall of the legendary St Anne’s plaza in Belfast is now online and waiting to be watched below!

Part 1 starts out with the plaza’s construction in 1993, then details how it quickly became Northern Ireland’s all encompassing answer to EMB despite the constant presence of some of Belfast shady undesirables. With rare archive footage and interviews from Jay Dords, Conhuir and Denis Lynn, Hippy, Mini Brown, Chris Shannon, Pete Adam and countless others.

Part 2 will be online next Wednesday starting with the appearance of Bernie Rea, so head back then for more Irish skate history!

Following its premiere a couple of weeks back, Peter Adams is readying the amazing “St Anne’s: Full Circle” documentary for its impending online release exclusively through Sidewalk and Mpora!

The documentary charts the rise and fall of the legendary St. Anne’s plaza in Belfast, that housed skaters, bmxers, misfits and drunks from the early nineties onwards, and tells the story through the eyes of the people that it meant the most to – skateboarders. From its construction, though to its deconstruction and up to the present day, St. Anne’s plaza has undoubtedly helped shape a generation.

“St. Anne’s: Full Circle” is a documentary piece by Peter Adam about the rise and fall of the original St. Anne’s plaza in Belfast, that housed skaters, bmxers, misfits and drunks from the early nineties onwards. Told through the eyes of the people that it meant the most to – skateboarders.

The premiere is set to take place at the Black Box, Belfast on Tuesday September 11th, 8pm. Entry is £2 which includes a raffle ticket for a chance to win a Wireless Skateboard’s deck!
