The tenth part of In Progress features a short section from Chris ‘The Bank Manager’ Jones, before making way for the second full montage.

I was mortified when i thought I’d lost my copy of Neil Chester’s 1999 A4 Distribution video “Hating Life”, but luckily enough, I’d only managed to misplace it as I found the thing whilst rifling through a box of old VHS earlier this week.

Anyway, Garry “Woody” Woodward’s closing section was always a real standout for me – the combination of full speed lines, proper “all terrain” business and raw Mancunion power meant that this particular part got a heavy rinsing upon its release. Seems as I finally found my copy of the video, I thought I’d share Woody’s part with the world via this weeks Sunday Service.

Obviously props to Neil Chester for filming and editing this classic UK video – pay attention to the boardslide attempts at Castlefield in Manchester at the start. Mental…

This week we thought we’d use our Sunday invasion of your inbox to draw your attention to the skateboarding of Manchester’s Garry “Woody” Woodward. I’m sure you’re all well aware, but Woody’s been literally killing it for years, taking care of both street and park business with ease, starting out racking up coverage in the mid 90′s and continuing right through to the present day.

We were hoping to bring you his section from Neil Chester’s 1999 VHS “Hating Life” but my copy seems to have randomly gone AWOL, meaning we decided to bring you a later section from Woody, this time from Stu Bentley’s infamous 2004 release “Leisure”.

Glastonbury Festival 2011 – Greenpeace Skatepark Highlights

Last weekend we packed our bags and headed down to the legendary Glastonbury Festival to document all the skating from the Greenpeace Skatepark, which found itself back in the center of the Greenpeace Field with skaters from all over the country showing up to put on twice daily demos for the eager crowds.
